Udford House
Udford house sits proudly alongside the River Eamont, surrounded by sheep grazing, woodland and views right through the Eden Valley.
Udford was originally used by the drovers crossing the nearby ford and driving their cattle south. Today it is an immaculately restored large holiday house in secluded grounds, outside the village of Edenhall, adjacent to the River Eamont, in the Eden Valley. Udford House comfortably accommodates 12 guests but smaller groups who appreciate the qualities of a larger house will find the spacious accommodation equally appealing. The setting is tranquil and the perfect antidote to modern life. You’re surrounded by nature, trout, and salmon in the river, all varieties of birds including dippers, kingfishers, duck, geese, deer and is a real haven for red squirrels.
The property is equipped with the following: Dishwasher, Kettle, All utensils cutlery & crockery, toaster, TV, bbq fresh bedding & towels.Logs for the wood burner and open fire are provided and the property has full central heating.
