Edenhall is a 1,500 acre historic
Cumbrian estate at the heart of the Eden Valley bordering the peaceful Rivers Eamont and Eden, and surrounded by stunning views of the Lake District and Pennine Fells. Not only does the venue offer spectacular landscapes for a unique and private special day, but the treasured family estate is also founded on firm values and a vision for a brighter future. Since the 50s Edenhall has been home to the Holden-Hindley family for four generations and they are proud to have preserved the heritage and original characteristics of the signature sandstone estate to create an  authentic capsule of history that is truly rare, such as the original 1820 mansion house stone pillars at the entrance to the long drive.

EDEN HALL

A place for those seeking a true country escape. The pristine Eden lawns overlook a stunning lake that will offer unforgettable views of the sunset behind the natural beauty of Fallow deer park. Sheltered by either a marquee or a tipi, couples can choose every finite detail about how they want their special day to go. This can include creating a festival themed day with the excitement of fire eaters to captivate your guests with, or reliving the carefree fun of childhood at the fairground with a coconut shy and ice-cream to enjoy.

ACCOMMODATION

If you choose to tie the knot at the estate then Edenhall has plenty of accommodation available for you and your guests, from the main Courtyard itself, to quintessential holiday cottages, a cosy farmhouse in the valley, plus the  idyllic riverside Lodge, which has been a huge favourite in the past among couples. For weddings in 2020 there will also be brand new Belle Tents available for a really unique experience. You won’t have to worry about guests having to travel far and wide to be with you on the special day and there will be no lost moments across the weekends as beveryone is nearby.
